Meru Governor, Kiraitu Murungi has bashed at CS Agriculture, Peter Munya asking him to respect other leaders.
Kiraitu who spoke in his development tour of Imenti Central Subcounty, asked the CS to hold back his pride, respect other elected leaders and work to help the people of MERU as the CS and stop going across the county throwing insults at him or disrespecting other elected Meru leaders.
He pointed out to be the longest term serving politician in Meru since 1992, but he has heared none praised for insults but development they bring, citing the rural electrification he spearheaded as the Minister for energy.
He was echoed by Deputy Governor Titus Ntuchiu who asked the people of MERU not to allow disruption from senseless noise and politicking from only two people.
Area MP. Kirima Ngushine held that the fate of Miraa lies upon the Agriculture CS and EALA MP Peter Munya and Mpuru Aburi respectively and should stop unnecessary politicking with the crop but solve farmers problems at both East Africa and Ministerial levels.
Kirima stated that the national assembly members passed protocols to sell Miraa in Djibouti, Eritrea Mozambique and Congo, alongside other interventions and that are at the desk of the CS awaiting approval, hence the need for urgent action.VIDEO>> 1.https://www.facebook.com/merucounty012/videos/992289394578030
