CS Amina Mohammed and Governor Kiraitu fast tracks the establishment of the historic Ultra-modern Meru Cultural Center. The center will, besides musium, also have a recording studio to promote local artists.

The president is expected to lay the foundation stone for the cultural infrastructure executed by the county in partnership with the national government. According to the CS, Meru County is among the giant cultural expressions in the country, hence worth supporting the project.

Kinoru Stadium Contractor has been put on notice following delayed completion of the stadium.

In an inspection tour led by the Sports CS, Amina Mohammed and Meru Governor, Kiraitu Murungi, the contractor was instructed to hire more youth and ensure the stadium is complete by 15th July 2020 ahead of official opening by president Kenyatta.

Another key project the governor envisions as one way to promote the county to a top sports destination, is the construction of Kirwiro baseball complex in Mwangathia Ward, Central Imenti, Meru is the home for the best baseball team in Kenya.
