Governor Kiraitu and CECM Legal affairs and Public Service, Kiautha Arithi inspected the progress of the cabro being laid in various towns to make them cleaner and dustfree.

"We want our towns to be dust free and free of mud during the rainy season. Cabro will be laid up to the doorstep of every shop. That, and the floodlights we have installed will ensure everybody trades in a clean and beautiful market even till late in the night," said the governor during the inspection.

The County Government of Meru continues to fulfil its manifesto promise to create dustfree towns, pave walkways and bicycle lanes which will ease congestion and ensure safety of pedestrians.

Nkubu, kithirune, kianjai, kiirua, antubetwe kiongo and kimongoro are among the many towns that have had cabro laid.
