Deputy Governor Titus Ntuchiu, who doubles as the Finance, Economic Planning and ICT Executive, has said the department has a mission to provide leadership in planning, resource mobilization and management for quality service delivery within the county.

The DG who spoke while officiating the launch of the departmental service charter, reminded officials that they must have a customer- first-attitude, as prerequisite for actualizing the 'Making Meru Great' vision.

"Our internal and external clients have the right to be heard in relation to the services we offer as a department." Said Ntuchiu. "It is important to note that we are making a public commitment to our stakeholders through this charter to provide efficient services in line with the County Integrated Development plan and the Meru Vision 2040." Added the DG.

This was equally echoed by Finance Chief Officer, Joseph Chabari, who said the document was done in consultation with various stakeholders inorder to incorporate their views.
