Meru governor, Kiraitu Murungi, has brought a new dawn to the second lot of 600 MYS recruits enrolling for vocational training across the county.

He has followed through with his promise to ensure these last year's recruits, are equipped with the much needed technical skills this year . This is part of his agenda to address the 'youth question' and save the youth from languishing in poverty, drug and substance abuse, hopelessness and apathy.

One of the beneficiaries from Kianjai Ward, Partric Mutwiri Nabea, Athwana Vocational Training Centre in Tigania Central, expresses his joy.

"I am glad for Governor Kiraitu who has come to my rescue 15 years since I left Igembe Boys. Despite my willingness to continue my education, negative peer influence indulge in drugs and substance abuse. MYS has reformed me am no longer a drug addict. I have enrolled for Electric Installation and am promising the Governor good results." Narrates Mutwiri.
