Governor Kiraitu's dream for empowering the youth by eradicating hopelessness, apathy, poverty, drug and substance abuse, a national youth question, continues with the second cohort of 600 MYS recruits reporting at MYS Igoji training Center.

The team will undergoe a two-week mindset change training and later on enroll to Meru Vocational Centers early next year, after the Christmas break, for intensive artisan skills training.

Last year, 1000 trainees were recruited with a number of 600 equiped with artisan skills landing to various job opportunities and self employment while 400 graduated as Community Health Volunteers
