The Governor of Meru H.E. Kiraitu Murungi will not waste valuable time responding to idle political hecklers, dramatists and relevance seekers who are out to make provocative statements to incite meaningless rhetoric and engagements. This is according to the Governor’s Chief of Staff Gideon Kimathi and County Executive for Public Service Kiautha Arithi.

The two leaders were speaking at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church Gitoro, during the church function for the unveiling of new church choir bus, which has been purchased to aide the choir in income generation.

"Governor Kiraitu will not stop his work of developing the County in his endeavor to Make Meru Great, in order to engage in useless politics. His development will speak in 2022," said the Chief of Staff.

CEC member Kiautha and the Chief of Staff also praised the Church for initiating empowerment projects such as the new bus which will be hired out to earn income as well as cut expenses by the choir. They added that this complements the Governor’s efforts to empower Meru County people especially the youth.
