KCB 2019 Meru Edition rally concluded with the son of soil McRae Kimathi the son to Pheneas Kimathi, KNRC Chair and Meru's hero, seeding 5th.

McRae is eying top KNRC positions, following the footsteps of his dad who is a former rally champion and CEO Kasarani based World Rally Championships- Safari Project.

Onkar Rai and his navigator Gavin Laurence won this year's high octane Meru edition.

Carl "Flash" Tundo navigated by Tim Jessop and Baldev Chager who teamed up with Ravi Soni sealed position two and three respectively.

Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi who presided over the finish and price giving ceremony at ASK Show ground Meru, thanked the coordinators of the event led by Helen Shiri, the clerk of the Meru course, KCB and other co- sponsors for the success of the event that has helped raise Meru Motor Sports bar high.

However, he wished fortitude and quick recovery to one Manvir Baryan whose tussle to prove his muscle for this season was cut short by an accident before he was airlifted to hospital.

Kiraitu was happy for a number of Meru racers and their navigators whom he termed a great encouragement to the young generation.
