Naathu Ward residents rejoice over a consignment of more than 1000 rain water harvesting tanks distributed to different women groups, public and other social Institutions.

This is part of financial year 2017/18 & 2018/19, 20million Ward Development Fund, apart from governor’s flagship projects, that has seen numerous cross-sector development attested to by the residents.

While distributing more than 50 tanks to women at Nathu Catholic Church, CO Water Haron Kanathi said the department is keen to ensure people have access to safe and adequate water, whether ground, rain or running water in order to uplift livelihoods.
