Meru County Government will maintain a close and constant engagement with all contractors in the County, from the start to the end of delivery of the various infrastructural projects awarded to them across the 45 Wards, to ensure that works delivered meet the set criteria on quality, standards, efficiency, timeliness and value for taxpayer’s money.

Speaking during the meeting with the Contractors,MCAs and other stakeholders,Deputy Governor Hon. Titus Ntuchiu said that the Government is working tirelessly to address all challenges that contractors have been raising such as improved and efficient departmental staff engagement and ensuring that all staff adhere to laid regulations among others.

On his part, Chief of Staff Gideon Kimathi, said that the County Government will institute stringent measures to deal with non-cooperative contractors, who fail to turn up for the engagement meetings to ensure that there is a common objective to deliver on the works as agreed in the contracts.
