County Secretary Dr. Rufus Miriti has hailed Igembe North residents for unanimous support to the Meru Vision 2040 being subjected to subcounty public participation, an event that brought together more than 200 special interest group leaders.

He held that the Governor has taken time to plan for Meru’s development which has shown his commitment to promote inclusive and equitable socio-economic and political growth.

As echoed by the exercise moderator Prof. NKinyangi, the vision will serve as a reference development framework once adopted through a legislation in the Meru Assembly.
