The KAA - ISIOLO delegation paid the the County Secretary, Dr. Rufus Miriti a courtesy call, during which they discussed various ideas that can be implemented in the Isiolo Airport's Marketing Strategy.

"We are ready to work closely with the Isiolo Government and the Airport management, to quickly expand the Airport's functions. Meru for one, is one of the biggest supplier of agricultural products in the Country and Isiolo Airport's ability to transport cargo will drastically cut down the cost, time and accident risk involved with transporting produce such as miraa, bananas and flowers among other things, by road." Said the CS

Dr. Rufus Miriti assured the delegation comprised of Joseph Okumu (Regional Airport Manager-Wilson/Northern Region), Eyanae Christine (Isiolo Airport Manager), Anthony Kulei (Marketing & Business Development) and Mr. Charles Okumu (Operations & Safety Manager) that Meru's Governor, Hon. Kiraitu Murungi and his adminstration would support their quest to fully operationalize the Isiolo Airport.
