Governor Kiraitu Murungi has this evening received a courtesy call from Mwamba Rugby Football Club team members led by team chairman Mr. George Mbaye and team Director Edwin Waita.

The team is in Meru for the preparations of the Kabeberi 7s Rugby tournament which will take place at Kinoru Stadium and Meru National Polytechnic grounds on 27th and 28th July, 2019.

The Governor welcomed the team to Meru and urged them to consider engaging local Rugby talent from Meru County. Present was the CEC member Jeremiah Lenya, Chief of Staff and Chief Officer for Public Service Gideon Kimathi and Sports Chief Officer Mercy Ndiira.
