CECM Health Mr Meshack Mutuma, has opened Kamboo health facility in a frenzy to see "every 3 km a health center". The facility is expected to serve the residents of Amwathi ward who were forced to go all the way to Mutuati level 4 hospital.

" This is one of the facility that will ease the congestion at Mutuati level 5" an excited Mr Mutuma said.He added that the department was opening similar facilities across the county to ease congestion.

Dr Kanana Kimonye who accompanied the CEC said the department would in subsequent financial years upgrade the facility by even building a maternity to ease the distance walked by women giving birth.

Area MCA Johanna ntongai , thanked the governor for his effort to bring development across all wards. He thanked the government for it's non discriminatory policy in development.

The CEC was accompanied by Muthara MCA kinyua M'Ribu and Pastor praise Edwin Kiongozi.
