CHIEF OF STAFF KIMATHI RECIEVES ENDORSEMENT.

Meru Chief of Staff Hon. Gideon Kimathi has received accolades, praise and endorsement from all leaders in Meru County, over his hard work, focus and solid support to Governor Kiraitu Murungi. Led by his boss, H.E. Governor Kiraitu, head of his Department of Public Service CEC member Kiautha Arithi and members of County Assembly led by the majority leader Hon. Victor Karithi, the leaders have issued a sharp rebuke to Senator Mithika Linturi who has lately launched attacks on Hon. Kimathi.
"Hon. Gideon Kimathi works in my office, I am the appointing authority that has appended signature on his employment letter and I can assure you all, he is safe and strongly working for my government, regardless of any noise out there and he will not be shaken by anyone," assured Governor Kiraitu.
Hon. Kiautha Arithi, the CEC member for Public Service, said that he is comfortable and confident with Hon. Kimathi’s performance as acting Chief Officer Public Service, and dismissed as idle talk, rumors that Hon. Kimathi draws double salary. Mr. Kiautha assured that his Department supports Hon. Kimathi and recognizes him as duly appointed to perform his duties.
On their part, MCAs termed Mr. Mithika’s attacks on Hon. Kimathi as malicious and motivated by anger, frustration and jealousy. They warned the Senator to concentrate more on doing his job to protect the County Government’s interests at the national level, and abandon shenanigans of selfish and backward politics of sabotage and personality attacks. The MCAs challenged Mr. Mithika to exchange positions with Hon. Kimathi, if he felt that he is incapable of discharging his mandate at the Senate, hence the drama he has been creating around the County lately and attacks targeted at Hon. Kimathi.
The leaders spoke at Kanyakine Catholic Church during the church family day.
