LEADERS CALL FOR AN END TO SUBTRIBAL DIVISIONS

CECM Public service Kiautha Arithi has said, the county has consistently ensured equitable distribution of resources and jobs since it's inception. They were at Kionyo Catholic in a fundraising attended by Senator Mithika Linturi.

"We have a balanced government, it is malicious to claim that a region has been favoured over the other" said Mr Kiautha.

Mr Kiautha urged leaders to stop division politics and instead focus on development .He added every single promise in the governors manifesto would be accomplished .

Senator Mithika Linturi, said he fully supported governor's manifesto

" No money has been lost in the county government, audit queries does not in any way reflects facts on the ground" added Mr Mithika.

Specifically pointing at the ethnic question in the report , Mr Mithika distanced himself from subtribal wars pitted by some leaders.

" The audit report does not mean ethinicity in terms of Igembe , Tigania and Igembe it talks about ethnic groupings outside of Meru " added Mr Mithika.
