Governor Kiraitu has signed a letter of intent for partnership with the UN-Habitat - led by Dr. Naison-Mutizwa Mangiza, Director, Africa Regional Office - on Local Economic Development in Meru County (LEDMC) through "My Town, My Business" initiative.
The project will be implemented through the County Government,UN-Habitat mutual benefit.
In the coming financial year, the County Government is also set to improve the informal rural settlements, through low-cost housing programs for improved habitats.
