Today Governor Kiraitu Murungi has received a delegation from Greening Kenya Foundation led by the CEO former MP and Cabinet Minister, Hon. Linah Jebii Kilimo, who paid him a courtesy call at his office.

The foundation is seeking a partnership with the County Government on greening of Meru hills and riparian zones ,with the aim of introducing bamboo as a new cash crop in the County.

Present was Deputy Governor Hon. Titus Ntunchiu, CEC member for Environment Carol Kagwiria Mutiga and Chief Officer Kinoti Mwebia.
