Accompanied by Mbeu and Nkomo Ward MCAs, David Muchena and Kithinji Ithaiba respectively, area DCC Mr. Opoko & ACC, the Deputy Governor, Titus Ntuchiu held successful talks with the NANCHANG Contractor and Community concerning the delays in the construction of Kagaene -Miomponi road.

The contractor issued the work plan for the road and made an assurance that the works will beginning today.

The road which is being improved to bitumen standards had sparked calls for demonstrations this week.

The team had ealier joined the Kimirii Sub location residents in congratulating Mr. Joshua Kailikia, who was appointed from Nyumba Kumi Chairman to the area's Assistant Chief.
