ECM Health , Meshack Mutuma accompanied by the Leader of Majority , Mr Victor Karithi to visit Herders who were shot by bandits at Lobua ,Tigania west sub counties where one of them died.

The 2 Herders who survived were treated at Meru level 5 hospital where they were transferred from Isiolo level 5 due to intervention by the county government. "The governor ordered me to take ambulances to Isiolo , in order to transfer them immediately to Meru level 5 for specialized treatment" said Mr Mutuma.

The herders will also be trained on basic first aid in order to save more lives during such attacks.

Leader of Majority ,Mr Victor Karithi who is also Athwana MCA, thanked the government for the prompt response by the county government and the care the hospital has taken for the two herders.

He added while the county government is playing it's role the national government need to add security especially in Isiolo -Meru border.
