Kimathi Spells Out Government Agenda

Chief of Staff, Hon. Gideon Kimathi has reiterated that Governor Kiraitu’s administration is busy delivering services to mwananchi, and is not ready to be dragged into meaningless politicking. The Chief of Staff said that Governor Kiraitu’s government is firmly fixed on the objective of Making Meru Great and will not be distracted by political sideshows.

"It is only one year since we ended the season of politics. As of now, our major goal is to ensure that every ward experiences the development worth Ksh. 20 million allocated to every Ward in the County by our Governor," said Mr Kimathi.

He was speaking at the Thanksgiving Mass for CECM Health, Eunice Kobia at St. Cyprian Catholic Church Ruuju, Mikinduri, Tigania East. He thanked Kobia for continuing to connect closely with her people even after achieving her education to Doctorate level and becoming a CECM. He encouraged leaders and the elite in the Meru Community to continue keeping a relationship with residents in the grassroots in order to develop their home areas.

Madam Kobia encouraged all leaders to keep in touch with their people in the grassroots, adding that younger generations learn from them and strive to achieve successes in their own.
