Governor Kiraitu Murungi has this evening joined the family, friends, relatives and the Judiciary fraternity in condoling with Ms Carol Kemei, the Githongo Law Courts Senior Resident Magistrate whose daughter, Marybel Kapoloni was brutally murdered recently.

Governor Kiraitu expressed deepest sympathies and prayed for God’s strength upon Ms Kemei and her family. He observed that the disappearance and subsequent murder of the young school girl is not only painful to Meru County but the entire Nation.

Pledging every support from his administration to the family, Governor Kiraitu said that he has reached out to the highest security and investigative organs in the country who have assured him that there is progress in pursuing the perpetrators of this heinous crime.

The Governor was accompanied by Deputy Governor, Hon. Titus Ntuchiu and other county officials.
