Deputy Governor Titus Ntuchiu, this week received delegations from Kakamega and Bomet Counties who are on a benchmarking tour.

The Kakamega team benchmarking on water provision is led by Water executive, Mr Baraza Wangwe. This is after Kakamega County Government learned of the high scorecard for Meru County in Devolution on Water provision. Kakamega Governor, Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya has commissioned the team to visit Meru County and learn how the county government has been able to achieve within a very short span of time.

The visit comes hot on the heels of other benchmark tours by delegations from Bomet County Government, to learn about the success of Meru County Government Development Committees; and Makueni County Government who came to learn about the success of Meru Youth Service.

Meru has truly become a focal point on matters development and learning model on devolution for other counties.
