Meru County has emerged among top counties in providing services in several devolved functions, a survey by Infotrak Research as shown
The perception survey sought to find out what the public thought about how the 47 counties had fared in providing services in Health, public works, agriculture. Other areas included county planning and development, transport, pollution control, cultural activities, education, trade development regulation among other devolved functions.
Majority of Meru residents feel that things have changed for the better since the introduction of devolution, according to the Infotrak survey
The Infotrak poll, which involved 600 people in the county, was conducted through phone assisted interviews between December 2014 and February 2015. It had a margin error of +|- 4.
