The governor started issuing cheques to Youth, Women and General Traders SACCOs as pledged his election manifesto. This started with Monday,May 25th, 2015 at Kariene and Nkubu market.

Other Sub-counties to receive their cheques by Saturday 30th May, 2015

"In addition, my government will sponsor secondary school education for two (2) most needy but bright students per ward.This will total to 90 students across the county every year.This shall be effected in the 2015/2016 financial year"
