Governor Mutuma M'Ethingia today commissioned the first-ever male ward at Nyambene Sub-County Hospital a 60-bed facility comprising 30 surgical and 30 medical beds bringing dignity, space, and improved care closer to the people.

And the momentum continues.

The county has officially handed over the KSh 50 million Outpatient Block to the contractor, alongside the KSh 100 million Inpatient Block being implemented in partnership with the National Government. This marks a significant step forward in the journey to elevate Nyambene into a Level 5 Referral Facility.

Nyambene, together with Miathene, Kanyakine, and Timau, is set to form the backbone of a stronger, more reliable healthcare system for Meru.
