The Deputy Governor, H.E. Linda Gakii Kiome, today had the honour of flagging off the Magical Kenya Trail Series at Mount Kenya National Park, Chogoria Gate. The cycling and 8km hike event is designed to showcase and promote Meru’s rich and diverse tourism products, with the goal of attracting investors and strategic partners.

She reaffirmed the County Government’s strong commitment to collaborating with the national government and all stakeholders to unlock new tourism opportunities across Meru. As a county, Meru remains intentional in creating a conducive environment for investors-an effort that will not only drive economic growth but also create sustainable employment opportunities for the people.
