Meru Governor H.E. Hon. Rev. Mutuma M’Ethingia presided over the official opening of the Maternity Wing at Nthambiro Dispensary in Igembe Central, marking a significant milestone in the County Government’s ongoing efforts to enhance access to quality maternal healthcare.

During the event, the Governor also led a community sensitisation on the importance of Smart Health Access (SHA) registration, aimed at ensuring that residents can access healthcare services more efficiently and affordably. Development initiatives continue across the ward, including ongoing water and road projects designed to improve connectivity and access to essential services.

Governor M’Ethingia was accompanied by his Deputy Governor, H.E. Linda Kiome, area Member of Parliament Hon. Dan Kiili, Members of the County Assembly of Meru, area MCA Hon. Murithi Mutiria, and other local leaders.
