During the swearing-in ceremony of Meru County Deputy Governor, H.E. Linda Gakii Kiome, the Governor of Meru H.E.Hon.Rev.Mutuma M'Ethingia affirmed that her appointment marks a new chapter for the county. He pledged his full support to her office and his commitment to ensuring that, as Deputy Governor, she would not face the dark times experienced in the past. He emphasized that their joint efforts would focus on bringing renewed hope and effective governance to the people of Meru.

He further stated that the leadership’s focus is clear; to deliver quality services and make up for the precious time that has been lost.

Governor Mutuma M'Ethingia assured the people of Meru that the better days they have long awaited are within reach. He reiterated that, together, the county leadership would work to ensure that every promise made is fulfilled through real progress and tangible benefits for all residents.
