GOVERNOR MUTUMA M'ETHINGIA HOSTS ASK DELEGATION, ACCEPTS ROLE AS MERU BRANCH PATRON

Governor Mutuma M’ethingia today hosted a delegation from the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK), who briefed him on the Society’s mandate to promote agricultural excellence, climate-smart practices, and platforms for innovation, trade, and knowledge exchange. The team formally requested the Governor’s acceptance to serve as the County Patron of ASK Meru Branch under Article 16(a)(i) of the Society’s Constitution-a role he gladly accepted. They also shared updates on the 2025 Meru National Show, set for May 28-31, with over 400 exhibitions, positioning Meru County as a hub for smart agriculture and youth-led agribusiness.
