Meru Governor, H.E. Hon. Rev. Mutuma M’Ethingia, joined Miathene residents in Kianjai Ward to inspect the ongoing construction of the ward block at Miathene Level IV Hospital. He identified key gaps including the lack of an X-ray machine, industrial autoclave, mortuary coolers, a power back-up generator, and inadequate staffing-all of which hinder efficient healthcare delivery. The Governor assured residents that these needs will be prioritized in the upcoming budget and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing the ward block to expand patient capacity. He also applauded healthcare workers for their dedication and called for collective support to ensure the hospital is fully equipped to serve the community effectively.
