Meru Governor Hon. Mutuma M'Ethingia commissioned the road opening and grading works along the Kwa Kauna-Kamutune-Kathiine-Twarama-Kwa Mitheu-Kwa Mario-Kwa Kubaniu-Twale Primary-Thinyaine Dispensary route in Ngundune, alongside the launch of a 2.3 km water distribution system at the Ngundune VTC borehole. These initiatives are expected to improve water accessibility for over 1,000 families. He also conducted the site handover of the Ngundune Livestock Market to SIVAP, marking a major milestone in infrastructure development within Akithi Ward. The Governor praised the continued unity in Meru, attributing the steady progress and enhanced service delivery to the commitment and leadership of the County Assembly members.
