Today, Meru Governor Hon. Rev. Mutuma M’Ethingia held his first meeting with the full Meru County staff at Kinoru Stadium.
He emphasized that civil servants, health officers, engineers, administrators, field staff, and support teams are the engine and vehicle driving development across the county. He praised them as the most qualified, experienced, and dedicated workforce, affirming that staff welfare is his top priority. He pledged his full support as they continue to serve with diligence and excellence.

The Governor also outlined his administration’s key priority:
Prompt & Reliable Service - ensuring that all requests and services are handled swiftly and professionally.

Present at the event were the newly sworn-in Cabinet, the Speaker and members of the Meru County Assembly, Professor Thuranira of Meru University, the Senator of Meru (also the Deputy Speaker of the National Senate), and over 6,000 county staff.
