In observance of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza presided over the distribution of assistive devices to over 1,000 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) from across Meru. In an effort to further empower PWDs, the County Government of Meru has disbursed Ksh20 million in seed capital to the Meru County PWD Sacco to date.

Governor Mwangaza emphasized the county government's commitment to ensuring that all residents regardless of their physical challenges, have the necessary resources required to live dignified and fulfilling lives.
