Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza Attends 11th KICOSCA Games In Kakamega, Celebrates Meru Team's Participation

H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza attended the opening ceremony of the 11th Edition of the Kenya Inter-County Sports and Cultural Association (KICOSCA) Games in Kakamega County. As the former Patron, she expressed great pride in passing the baton to His Excellency Governor Fernandes Barasa, who now assumes the role of Patron for this year's edition.

Themed "Building Synergies on Climate Change through Sports and Cultural Activities," this year's games offer a unique opportunity to leverage sports and culture as powerful tools to raise awareness and foster collective action on the pressing issue of climate change.

As we embark on this new chapter of KICOSCA, we gather not only to compete, but to celebrate our rich diversity, creating bonds that transcend regional, ethnic, and cultural boundaries.

We wish the Meru Kicosca team in Kakamega the Best!
