Meru women will no longer have to travel long distances with heavy jerrycans of water on their backs. This is H.E Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza's prayer and promise as a fellow woman and the governor of Meru county.

During Her Excellency's development tour of Mbaria, Kiirua/Naari ward, she handed over Mbaria solar powered borehole. It will provide adequate, safe water to hundreds of families in the area. The era of theoretical development is over. Governor's administration must deliver tangible progress. Meru must be happy!

Further, the Governor made a personal donation of hundreds of blankets to the most needy members of the community, seeds that will be distributed to various farming groups and 50 kitchen garden sacks to enhance agricultural productivity.
