Governor Munya has assured Meru residents of his government’s commitment to continue with the development agenda he promised the electorate during the last general elections. His Excellency commissioned development projects Kianjai, Muthara and Antuanuu and assured the local’s that he will continue to initiate more projects aimed at boosting the people’s livelihoods. "We are implementing development projects in the county in order to improve our economy" Governor Munya said. Addressing hundreds of visibly excited wananchi who lined up the road give him a tumultuous welcome during his one-day working tour in Tigania, Governor Munya who was accompanied by CEC members and several MCA’s re-affirmed his government commitment to improve the lives of all merians. The climax of Governor’s visit was at Kianjai where he addressed mammoth rally. Several political leaders who spoke at the rally asked him to go ahead and vie for the presidency in 2022, citing region’s voting numbers.
