In Athwana, deliberate steps are being taken to address the real challenges facing local communities. Today, H.E. Mutuma M’Ethingia, alongside Tigania West MP Dr. John Mutunga and MCAs led by Athwana Ward MCA Hon. Jim Muchui, launched a community borehole project in Mirichu through a partnership between the National Government and the County Government.

The project will provide clean and reliable water to farmers and pastoralists, strengthening food security, supporting livestock, and improving household livelihoods. It demonstrates that when leaders work together with a shared purpose, development reaches the people faster.
