Meru County Governor, H.E. Hon. Rev. Mutuma M’Ethingia, today met with the SIVAP team led by Eng. Kennedy Makudiuh, highlighting their significant contributions to key value chains in Meru, including dairy farming, irrigation, beekeeping, and road development. Their support for agro-processing groups, such as dairy goat farmers in Kithirune and maize value addition in Mikinduri, has boosted local livelihoods. With the program closing on June 30th and 24 boreholes pending due to geological challenges, an extension is essential for continued progress in the county. The Governor thanked the team for their unwavering commitment.
