With great delight, H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza flagged off the countywide distribution of essential medical supplies valued at over Ksh28 million to all level 5 and sub-county hospitals across Meru County. This initiative aims to guarantee that pharmacies in public hospitals maintain year-round stocks for enhanced delivery of healthcare services to the people of Meru. Today's delivery is part of a Ksh61 million order placed with MEDS, with a second delivery worth Ksh33 million expected in two weeks. In addition to ensuring a regular supply of adequate medical resources to hospital pharmacies, Governor Mwangaza's administration has also undertaken significant efforts to enhance service delivery by revitalizing healthcare facilities. Furthermore, steps have been taken to revive stalled hospital projects as part of the administration's commitment to prudent financial management and the prevention of unnecessary loss of public funds.
