Governor Kawira Mwangaza Empowers Communities In Igembe South Sub County
Governor Kawira Mwangaza's today development tour in Igembe South Sub-County has left a profound impact on the local communities. The distribution of sporting uniforms and balls to more than 30 football teams from Kiegoi Antubochiu ward, coupled with the provision of car wash machines to five youth groups, demonstrates a commitment to fostering sportsmanship and entrepreneurship among the youth.
Notably, Kiegoi Antubochiu ward's Andula Widows SHG, Majaliwa SHG, and Auki Upendo group have received essential resources in the form of tents and chairs, empowering these marginalized groups with the means to enhance their activities and livelihoods.
Furthermore, Governor Mwangaza's support extended to over 15 football teams in Maua ward, providing them with sport jerseys, and to seven youth groups with high-pressure car wash machines, reflects a comprehensive approach to community development.
In addition to these initiatives, the governor has ensured the seamless delivery of basic healthcare services at the household level by equipping Community Health Promoters (CHPs) with replacement kits, emphasizing the importance of accessible healthcare for all.
