Among the recent endeavors is the allocation of funds totaling Ksh20,313,276.38 towards the Timau Household Sanitation Project.

A significant portion of this funding, Ksh4 million, has been earmarked for subsidies aimed at incentivizing landlords to construct permanent toilets in informal settlements within Timau town. This proactive measure not only enhances hygiene and sanitation but also uplifts the living conditions of residents in areas such as Riverside, Mukuri, Mia Moja, Kwa Joshua, Ballast, and Kongoni.

Additionally, Ksh16,313,276.38 has been allocated for the construction of a Decentralized Treatment Facility (DTF) at the Timau Vocational Training Center (VTC) grounds. This infrastructure investment underscores Governor Mwangaza's holistic approach to addressing community needs and promoting sustainable development.

Furthermore, through the Emergency Locust Response Project (ELRP), the administration has allocated Ksh1,499,250 to support six groups involved in the improved indigenous chicken value chain. This initiative not only boosts agricultural productivity but also enhances nutrition, contributing to the overall well-being of residents.

Recognizing the importance of sports and youth engagement, Governor Mwangaza facilitated the distribution of jerseys to 58 football teams and 27 volleyball teams in Timau ward. Moreover, the governor's support extends beyond traditional sectors, as evidenced by her assistance to local groups such as Revelation Clan and Mountain Riders - Kithithina. Providing a 100-seater tent and chairs to Revelation Clan and a high-pressure car wash machine and water storage tank to Mountain Riders - Kithithina, Governor Mwangaza aims to engage the youth in constructive activities, promote talent development, and enhance income-generating opportunities for low-income earners.
