H.E. Governor Kawira Mwangaza has today commissioned the Abogeta Avocado Processing Line Aggregation and Value Addition Centre at Kithaene in Abogeta West Ward. The facility is equipped with state of the art machinery and processing technologies worth Ksh. 24M, ensuring efficient sorting, grading, and packaging of produce.

Establishment of a centralized aggregation and value addition center aims to streamline avocado processing operations, improve product quality, enhance post harvest management, and increase market access for farmers of the avocado value chain.
