On behalf of H.E Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza, today, the Water and Irrigation Ag. Chief Officer Eng. Jack Muthamia launched the drilling of a borehole at Kanyakine Hospital in Abogeta East, which has been spending large amounts of money on water usage, a cost that will now be reduced with usage of the borehole water.

The Ag. Chief Officer promised quality service delivery to the people of Kanyakine. With the new borehole, the community will have access to clean water for consumption and other domestic uses.

The area MCA Hon. Haron Guantai commended the unity between the county Assembly and the county Executive. He called off rumors of a division between the two arms of government and emphasized the need for collaboration in delivering development projects.

The borehole launch marks a significant milestone in Governor Kawira's tenure, also signifies her dedication to fulfilling her campaign promises. Governor's administration has implemented various development projects, including road infrastructure, healthcare improvements, and youth empowerment programs.
