H.E. Governor Bishop Kawira Mwangaza together with the County Commissioner Mr. Fredrick Ndunga held a meeting with the Administration Police Leadership and Sports Centre (APLSC), located in Tigania Central, Miciimikuru location, Kirimancuma sublocation.

The centre is under Commandant Mutabari and has specialized in special Forces Training, Leadership and Command courses. The Commandant and his team was joined by several opinion leaders from Miciimikuru.

Through partnership and collaboration with Meru county government, the centre has intiated various community social responsibility initiatives which includes; medical facility, roads maintenance, environmental conservation, Kamithega Day Secondary school, school furniture, clean water, employment opportunities, among other services.

Her Excellency's administration will continue giving support to the centre through infrastructure, medical equipments, drugs and human capital. Her government will support the community water borehole with pipes and tanks with a capacity of 10,000 liters to enhance water distribution to all residents. To decrease insecurity cases in the area, her government in collaboration with Ministry of Energy will immediately undertake a street lighting project within the centre and the surrounding areas.

Governor will follow up the tarmacking of Kailune -Kilindo (Kiolo)- Kirimancuma APLDC road to enhance mobility in the area. Governor's administration through the department of Lands will immediately follow up the issue of land subdivisions and insurance of title deeds in the area.
