Following H.E Hon Bishop Kawira Mwangaza's declaration of war on unscrupulous contractors who deliver substandard work at the taxpayers' expense, a team of county government officials led by the Chief Political Advisor Dr. George Gikunda Mungania, have inspected the workmanship of a construction project at Kitheo Dispensary in Tigania West Sub-County.

The team found the project that was said to have been completed during the last regime to have been unsatisfactorily done and in dire need of rectification before it can be classified as complete and ready for use. Among many things, the contractor will need to complete expansion of the laboratory and fix the shortfalls that were noticed in the maternity wing which include; plumbing, a kitchen and a laundry area.

Her Excellency will not condone shoddy project executions at the taxpayers' expense. Her administration must deliver quality and substantive development to the people. Meru must be happy!
