Later on, Governor Kawira Mwangaza, her deputy Rev. Mutuma M'ethingia and Kiagu MCA Hon. Simon Kiambi have launched the construction and grading of 6km Kiamuri-Muthithi-Kiraka road and 9.9 km Nguna-Mworoto-Muthijine-Mpuga-Mati road. While promising that this was only the beginning, she pledged to ensure that all roads in Meru County are in good condition.

Governor Kawira expressed fervent gratitude towards Hon. Kiambi for his steadfast support towards her. She hailed him as an exemplary servant leader who prioritizes the needs of his electorate before his own.

Further, Governor Kawira promised to fully sponsor 20 students for every 50 students that Hon. Kiambi sponsors to access technical skills because education is the greatest equalizer that she knows.
